A still graphic was supplied as the basis of this project, from which individual assets were created and animated, hence there was no need for a storyboard. The music was also supplied, meaning all the necessary timings were pre-determined for us. This meant the majority of the project involved building a rig to animate the separate visual elements and populating the 3d picture slideshow with the provided imagery.

Because this project did not involve a linear story, it was a different approach to other productions. You therefore start to see results earlier on, and can keep building into the visuals depending on the available time. It’s not always straight forward to bring a 2d graphic to life, but due to the pop art style used this design worked really well.
