The vfx shots for this movie involved creating full 3d models based around objects used on film, from smoothies to airplanes. The animation requirements were extremely varied between shots, with some including camera tracking and compositing the 3d models onto the original footage whilst others involved creating whole new shots of 3d environments with explosions.

It certainly felt like being thrown in the deep end working on a project like this, but it was a huge learning curve for understanding the visual effects industry and how to approach large scale projects. A lot of post production work can get away with slight inaccuracies due to fast moving action, but we had no such luck with these shots, as the movie plot involved freezing time!
