Day or Doom was an ambitious project due to the amount of information required, and therefore we segmented the sections to vary between film, motion graphics and 3d. This helped keep the viewers’ attention, by coming across as separate videos. Careful consideration had to be given to the budget, as with any crowd funded project, there were limited funds available. Still, working with our partners at Nymbl and Frame Dogs, we managed to pull out all the stops possible, and the client was extremely happy with the outcome. The green screening film shoot was a great deal of fun, and added much more excitement to the finished product.

Working with Mario, the games creator, was a pleasure and the concept of the game is certainly unique and very exciting. Because of how in-depth the game is, a lot of time was spent learning how to play ourselves, so that we could design a storyboard that was informative and accurate. As keen as I am to play this game, I have heard that Mario has since got another game in production off the back of this project called Eonwar, which I cannot wait to try out. After which, he hopes to receive the final funding for Day or Doom.
